How to Make a Blogger Fall in Love with You – The Ultimate Manual

Hello Reader, and thank you for clicking here.

Today I will teach you how to make a blogger fall in love with you. Don’t be fooled by the brevity of this article. The techniques I am about to share with you are very powerful and they do work. You will “just” have to apply them.

I assume that you have been reading for a while, and that you are happy with what you have found here so far. I really hope this is so. That’s a blogger’s dream!

On the other hand, if this is the first thing you read on my blog, it may be a good idea to have a look at my other articles first. Read more …

Limiting Beliefs – How They Work And What To Do About Them

“There’s something wrong with me”
“I should never fail”
“I need to be perfect”
“People are evil”
“It’s all about money”
“You have to work hard to have money”
“Being rich is evil”
“All men are pigs”
“All women are bitches”
“Sex is sinful”
“You have to strike before they do”

You have certainly already heard about limiting beliefs, haven’t you? Everybody is talking about them – for a good reason. But what are they actually?

Well, the name says it just right: beliefs that limit us.

They are statements about life that we are emotionally invested in. They color our thoughts, feelings and choices. They skew our perceptions and influence our actions – so that the consequences we get reinforce them. Even if we intellectually understand that a belief is false, it still has emotional power over us.

If you have a limiting belief, your life experience will seem to be a living proof for its legitimacy. You will absolutely buy into it, and questioning it will seem ridiculous. You will probably get angry and offended by any suggestions to test its validity.

That’s only natural. We develop limiting beliefs as a response to frustrating events in an effort to protect ourselves from future pain. Thus any suggestion to question them seems to us like:

  • a suggestion to leave our safety and get burned again;
  • the person suggesting it has no understanding of what we’ve gone through.

The sad part is, that by sticking to our limiting beliefs, we give up on any hope to live our lives fully. We also push away the people who would like to show us something better.

There are at least two ways in which limiting beliefs perpetuate themselves and dictate our life experience: Read more …

Change Your Life by Changing Your Mind

Are you ecstatic about your life? If you had the chance to start fresh, would you do everything just the same way? Or would you prefer to make some changes? Most of us do want to make changes but don’t know how.

When I first heard that changing my mind could change my life, I got highly skeptical. It seemed too woo-woo to be true. I was so upset with my situation though. All my attempts to change things had failed so far. That’s why I decided to explore the topic. Now I am convinced that changing my mind is not just strange theory, but a necessity.

To begin with, education can be life changing. There is a kind of education though that we never get at school: we are never taught how to use those incredibly powerful computers we are all equipped with. If you don’t know how to use a computer, the experience can be very frustrating. Your brain is no different.

A great deal of our suffering is caused by improper brain use. We let our brains trick us – and often in a bad way.

Keys

Keys

Here’s an example. Have you ever had something like this happen to you: It’s time to leave the house, but you can’t find your keys.

“Why does this always happen at the most inconvenient moments?” you think to yourself. “I need to hurry up.”

Then you proceed to quickly look at the places you usually leave your keys, but find nothing. You try to ignore that mild stir in your belly and suppress it. You try to stay calm.

“I need to be there on time!”

You start searching faster, peeping into corners you’d never expect to find your keys, and sure enough, they are not there.

Meanwhile, the minutes are ticking away. Each time you look at the clock, you feel this stiffness in your belly get a bit stronger, then slowly take over your chest, then your neck.

“I’ll never make it on time,” you think to yourself. The harder you try, the more you realize how pointless it all is. You give up trying. All hope is gone.

Feeling tired and disillusioned, you let a deep sigh out and drop into a chair, accepting your defeat.

And there you see them. Your keys are lying on that shelf where you always leave them, clearly visible from a mile away.

What happened here? Seems like you were blind at that time.

We can all be blind without knowing it, as can be seen here: Read more …

My Inner Perfectionist Is Screaming: “Don’t Do This!”

Hello everybody!

It’s been quiet here for a while. I didn’t post anything new in the last three weeks.

Life has been crazier here than you could ever imagine. I could have easily given up on my blog – but I didn’t.

Something has been brewing all the time. I went through a very steep learning curve – and am not finished yet. I won’t be finished any time soon. But there’s something I can’t wait to share with you.

Here’s the deal: I’m moving to my own domain.

This may sound trivial to some of you, but to me it was quite a challenge. I’ve been in a coding frenzy these days – learning how things are done as I go.

My new site is not ready, yet. I’ll surely have to rework a lot of things – but it’s up already.

My inner perfectionist is in panic right now. He’d like to put this moment off until everything has become flawless.

There’s no way I could put it off anymore though.

Thank you my friend for all your concerns, but we’re gonna be all right. I promise you.

I’d like to thank the team of wordpress.com for doing the awesome job they’ve been doing so far. I had to code myself many of the things you’ve been doing for me for free.

It’s time though that I created my own site.

Please, have a look and tell me what you think!

To all my friends who have been linking to me, thank you! Could you please redirect those links?

Now, I’m so excited!  Here it is.

Fred Kofman – Verbal Aikido

Today, my friend Jonas made me aware of Fred Kofman by posting a comment. Thank you Jonas for adding value to my blog!

Now I can’t wait to share this info with you. The ideas presented here are very much in line with Nonviolent Communication, but from a slightly different angle. The theory is a bit simplified, and application could be a bit easier. I suggest that you immerse yourself in both – then start practising this one. Read more …

I Had a Dream as a Child

Hello everybody!

Today I’d like to share with you a dream I had some 20 years ago. Even though it’s been such a long time since, I can still remember some of the scenes vividly. This has been a dream that I’ve remembered throughout my life, a dream that has left a deep impression on me.
